In most cases they do not even conform to the radius which they were intended to shape. Sandpaper needs to be replaced. Abrasive glued or plated in a thin layer to a concave surface is inconsistent and wears out relatively quickly. Only CueShark uses the abrasive silicon carbide mixed with a specialized aerospace epoxy, forming a SOLID nickel and dime shaped radius right into the tool! This creates a surface that is absolutely uniform and to the exact size of the radius. Abrasive NEVER WEARS OUT! Nothing to replace! Ever! As an added feature of the design, the abrasive is set into a thin rim which runs around the top edge of the shaper cap. This prevents the ferrule and any surface which the shaper may bet set upon from being scratched. Each time you shape your tip using the CueShark you will get a consistent, well formed and rounded tip. ALWAYS!

	Exclusive Side Trimmer Design A noted problem with the maintenance of cue tips is avoiding scratches to the ferrule. Few products, if any, adequately remove the "mushroomed" edge of a cue tip without risking damage to the ferrule. This is caused by inadvertent contact with the abrasive or the blade of a side trimming tool. CueShark’s innovative design incorporates our trimming tool into the side of the shaper cap on the Original CueShark, and on the side of the P.U.P. This built-in feature enables the cue tip to be pushed up at a slight angle as it's moved into position. This prevents contact between the abrasive and ferrule. Rotating the cue stick then trims protruding material from around the edge of the tip, preserving your cue tip shape without damaging the ferrule.

	Patented Curved Tip Perforator Current perforating tools have spikes or serrations arranged on a flat surface which have you repeatedly tap or push the tool onto the cue tip. Problems that arise include inconsistent depth of penetration, along with an inconsistent pattern of perforation. Tearing and “softening” of the tip fibers can occur from over penetrating, common with tools made of steel spikes. The reason for these problems is only a single portion of these flat tools can come into contact with the round face of the tip at any given time. With its patented curved design, CueShark’s tip perforator is like nothing that has ever been seen before! Our curved perforating tool rolls perfectly across the top of the cue tip, enabling the tool to come into contact with the entire tip in one even motion. Players will notice the pattern is always equal and the depth is always consistent. The spikes never over penetrate, keeping the chalk where it needs to be, in tiny pockets at or near the surface. This results in a process that is simple, quick, and easy - yet very accurate!

	Dispenser & Chalk Holder One of the original concepts for the CueShark was a means to conveniently carry both chalk and powder without making a mess. No other tool available has this dual combination and CueShark has done it with astounding simplicity! *(Not Available in the CueShark PUP)* Chalk Holder The chalk holder allows a player to carry chalk with them wherever they go, without leaving hands, pockets, and cases blue. You will never again worry about whether chalk will be available at the bar. For the more advanced player, the preferred brand of chalk can be carried and the custom shape of your chalk will remain unchanged allowing for a consistent layer on the tip each time it is used. Powder Dispenser The powder dispenser opens and closes easily and a slight tap on the side can put just the right amount of powder exactly where you want it. It’s easily refillable with your favorite brand of hand powder and unlike other models on the market will not accidentally open while in your pocket or cue stick case.

Belt Clip/Holster w/burnisher (11mm - 14mm) & radius gauges	Belt Clip Holster w/built in Burnisher and Gauges Available with our Competitor and Gift packages, the holster serves as yet another multifunctional aspect of the CueShark. Designed with league players and professionals in mind, the holster enables the user to carry the CueShark with them around the table as they play. Top piece of CueShark will slide easily in and out of the top of holster, for frequent use of chalk and powder. The bottom half of CueShark securely clips on to bottom of holster - and is easily removed when needed. It’s the most convenient way ever of having both chalk and powder readily accessible for each and every shot! Burnisher A tip burnisher is built into the bottom of the holster for tips sized 11-14 mm (or located on the side of the CueShark PUP.) What makes our burnisher unique from the rest is the slightly increased angle at which it is formed. It’s designed to direct pressure downward as well as inward at the point of contact. This reduces damage to the ferrule and the likelihood of twisting your cue tip right off. On the P.U.P., a variation of the burnisher is built in to the side. (10mm - 14mm) A tip burnisher is built into the bottom of the holster for tips sized 11-14 mm (or located on the side of the CueShark PUP.) What makes our burnisher unique from the rest is the slightly increased angle at which it is formed. It’s designed to direct pressure downward as well as inward at the point of contact. This reduces damage to the ferrule and the likelihood of twisting your cue tip right off.
holster with gauges	Nickel & Dime Radius Gauges On the top edge of the holster we conveniently placed nickel and dime radius gauges. These allow players to check the profile of their cue tip during play or while doing maintenance. The clever positioning of the gauges allows the player to look through to the opposite side of the tool. This enables overhead light to be blocked on the front face of the tip allowing it to be “back lit”. This produces a very clear profile from which to judge the condition of the tip radius. This is another first and only available from CueShark. On the CueShark P.U.P. the nickel and dime radius gauges are built right into the top edge.
